StemSplitterAI is an online tool that separates songs into individual stems (vocals, drums, bass, and other instruments) using AI. Musicians, singers, teachers, and bands use it to create custom backing tracks, karaoke versions, drumless practice tracks, and isolated instrument stems from songs they already own.

How It Works

You upload an audio file, pick a task preset, and our AI processes the separation in minutes. Every song gets a free 30-second preview so you can hear the quality before committing credits. The stem player lets you solo, mute, and adjust each part in the browser before downloading.

Technology

Our stem separation is powered by state-of-the-art AI models trained on large-scale music datasets. The processing runs in the cloud, so your device does not need special hardware or a fast GPU. Output is delivered as lossless WAV files.

Pricing Philosophy

We use per-minute credits instead of monthly subscriptions. New users start with 5 free minutes, and purchased credits never expire. This model means you only pay for what you actually process, and there is no recurring charge if you take a break.

Supported Formats and Limits

Upload MP3, WAV, or M4A files up to 100 MB and 15 minutes in length. Output is always delivered as lossless WAV. We chose WAV to preserve the quality of separated stems so musicians can use them directly in practice, performance, or further editing without re-encoding artifacts.

Privacy and Data Handling

Uploaded audio files are processed in the cloud and stored temporarily for download. Files are not shared, indexed, or used for training. Processed results expire after a limited window so your music stays private. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
