Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using StemSplitterAI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
StemSplitterAI is an online audio stem separation tool. You upload an audio file, select a separation preset (such as vocal removal, drum removal, or full stem split), and the Service processes your file using AI models to produce separated audio stems.
The Service is available to both anonymous (guest) users and registered users, with different usage limits and features.
User Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Creating an account does not automatically grant paid processing minutes. You can start free with 5 minutes, listen online, and choose a Minute Pack or an Unlimited Plan when you need more full-song processing.
Audio Minutes and Payments
The Service offers one-time Minute Packs and Unlimited Plans.
- Minute Pack usage is calculated in full audio minutes. Partial minutes round up to the next full minute.
- Before processing, you will see the estimated audio minute cost based on your file's duration.
- If processing fails due to a system error, paid audio minutes are automatically refunded to your account.
- Free, daily, or promotional minutes may expire or reset according to their stated rules. Daily free minutes are used before paid Minute Pack minutes.
- Paid Minute Packs do not expire.
- Unlimited Plans still have file limits, fair-use safeguards, and queue/concurrency limits to prevent abuse.
- All Minute Pack purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or in cases of processing failure as described above.
- Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change. Price changes do not affect Minute Packs already purchased.
Anonymous (Guest) Usage
Anonymous users can create limited full-song processing jobs, limited by IP address. Downloading stems and exporting custom mixes require an account with an Unlimited Plan or enough audio minutes. Results for anonymous processing jobs are available for a limited time.
Audio Files and Copyright
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to process any audio you upload. By uploading a file, you confirm that:
- You own the audio, or
- You have obtained permission from the rights holder, or
- Your use qualifies as fair use or falls under a similar legal provision in your jurisdiction.
We do not monitor or verify the copyright status of uploaded files. The Service is a technical processing tool that operates at your direction. We are not responsible for how you use the resulting stems.

AI Processing
Your audio is processed using third-party AI stem separation models. We do not use your audio files to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI models. Your files are processed and the results are returned to you. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling and retention.
Data Retention
Audio files are stored temporarily. Anonymous user files are retained for up to 48 hours, and registered user files for up to 14 days. After the retention period, files are permanently deleted. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload audio you do not have the right to process.
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limiting, or authentication.
- Create multiple accounts to bypass one-time offers, usage limits, or anonymous processing limits.
- Use automated tools to bulk-process files beyond normal usage patterns.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer the Service or its underlying models.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.
Processing times depend on file length, server load, and the AI model used. We do not guarantee specific processing speeds or output quality.
Intellectual Property
The Service, its design, code, and branding are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your audio files and the stems produced from them belong to you. We claim no ownership or license over your audio content beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. This includes loss of audio files, processing errors, or service interruptions.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time through your account settings. Upon account closure, remaining audio minutes are forfeited.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
